Detailed description
Piet Hein, from Uitgeest, has been accompanying Koor Together in the De Dwarsligger community center for years. Previously he was supported by an assistant. Unfortunately this has disappeared. Piet is looking for a new colleague volunteer to provide people with disabilities with a pleasant evening.
The choir consists of people with intellectual disabilities. The musical accompaniment is provided by the Wijkerstraatband.
We are looking for someone with an affinity with people with intellectual disabilities and with singing and music. Thanks to your efforts, Piet can focus more on the musical accompaniment and the participants and members of the band will have an enjoyable evening. Participants and guidance also create their own texts and songs.
The tasks include:
-Being a host/hostess;
-Handing out text booklets and helping to find the right page;
-Give positive attention to the participants;
-Think along;
-Help with delivering the posters.
You become a volunteer at Welzijn Velsen, can appeal to the responsible worker, participate in the attentions for the volunteers and the insurance, and can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct at the expense of the foundation.
