Every year on April 27, we, as the Orange Foundation Wageningen (OSW), organize a fun day full of festive activities for Wageningers by Wageningers. We consist of a board and a group of motivated volunteers.

We are looking for a member and a chairman to strengthen the board.

What we are looking for, for both positions:

Enthusiasm to realize a beautiful King's Day for the widest possible audience

Taking initiative and organizing ability

· Being open to and introducing new ideas

· Ability to work well together

We would also like to see the following additional talents for the chairman:

Helicopter look about the organization and the main line of the King's Day celebration

· Possesses managerial qualities including being able to chair the meetings well

· Acting as a figurehead of OSW, also at official occasions and meetings.

About our work:

Our preparations usually start around November with a first meeting. Then there are the preparations in the run-up to April 27. On that day we organize activities such as the official opening at the town hall, cloth market, activities/sports event, coloring contest, etc. We are of course open to original and new ideas.

In concrete terms, this amounts to approximately 6 to 7 board meetings in the period November-April. In addition, each board member has his/her tasks together with the volunteers to further develop and organize certain parts.

It's always great to see how many people are enjoying this day!
