Summary
Volunteers are needed to pick up and drop off residents and provide coffee and tea at our Torckdael location.
Detailed description
During our recreational activities, for example a musical performance, bingo afternoon or theme afternoon, usually once a month on Thursday afternoon and occasionally on Saturday, we are looking for support.
Job description:
Picking up and returning the residents and guiding them to and from the recreation room. Pouring coffee/tea and enjoying the activity.
Job requirements:
Having an affinity with demented elderly people and being able to empathize with the target group, being physically in good shape to be able to push a wheelchair, being social, friendly and patient.
What do you have to offer the volunteer?:
- You are entitled to a travel allowance (from 5 km one way). - You are insured. - You will receive a present from the Opella employee during the month. - You will receive the year-end gift around Christmas. - You can follow training.
What makes the work worthwhile?:
If you have an affinity with the target group, you can help ensure that the residents return home with a satisfied feeling.
Working time:
About once a month, usually on a Thursday afternoon, sporadically on a Saturday.
