We are looking for someone who can easily interact with people and enjoys tinkering with bicycles together or making nice things out of wood.
For our work and day care we are looking for volunteers who are creative and active, and who can offer a listening ear. Do you also like to roll up your sleeves? Then we are looking for you!
You supervise day care activities for people who stay in Omnizorg at the Social Care or Protected Housing. They participate in the activities as part of their recovery trajectory.
Three times a week we offer a block of 2 hours, where participants can repair bicycles and/or work with wood. For the latter, think of making a birdhouse, for example.
Supervising these activities also includes devising and preparing the activities.
The activities take place on Mondays from 10:00 to 12:00 and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 13:30 to 15:30.
A technical background is an asset. And you can take good care of yourself and stand firmly in your shoes.
These activities are part of a broader approach within Omnizorg in which we use the activities to seek connection with the clients. From that connection we contribute to increasing self-esteem, discovering or developing talents and committing to a path of (further) recovery.
We are looking for people who want to support us in these activities. The team consists of professional work and activity supervisors and volunteers. In the work you are never alone.
