Questions can be asked at the helpdesk such as: How can I make video calls? How can I keep in touch via social media? How can I play games with others? The calls come in through the customer contact center of the Elderly Fund and are then transferred to the 'volunteer on duty'. If you are on duty, a transfer will be made to a number that you specify and on which you can be reached.
We are also looking for volunteers for the helpdesk and to be able to make a good division, use is made of time slots, these are on working days between 9-11 am, 11-13 am, 1 - 3 pm, 3 - 5 pm. It is of course possible to be classified for multiple time slots, please even! You will then receive the confirmation with the definitive timetable and a short manual.
It is important that you are able to explain calmly and patiently. The callers are often not very digitally skilled and are sometimes uncertain about their own actions. The calls are forwarded to your phone and it is nice if you also have a good internet connection.
