Do you have superpowers in the kitchen and a warm heart for people? Then become our new cooking volunteer and make people happy with a tasty meal!
Who are we?
We are a warm, small-scale house with 3 floors (Forest, Heath and Meadow) with 9 residents each (multiple disabled), the Mooi Leven Huis in Bennekom. A house where our residents feel at home. Cosiness, attention and good food are of course part of that. And you can play a heroic role in that.
What does a kitchen hero do in the Mooi Leven Huis?
- you help prepare the hot meals
- You and the team ensure a pleasant meal
- You can help with feeding after completing a training course.
- you bring atmosphere to the kitchen and a smile to the table
- you cook with love - stars are not necessary, taste is!
What do you need to become a kitchen hero?
- you like cooking (and people even more)
- you are sociable, cheerful and independent
- you are available a few hours a week (once every 2 weeks or once a month is also an option), consultation is always possible
- you cook with love
What do you get from us?
- much gratitude, conviviality and a radiant smile from the residents
- you can join us for dinner
- part of a warm team
- a volunteer agreement, spoiled with attentions, invitations to volunteer evenings, Christmas celebrations and New Year's drinks
