Fair Future Generators is looking for young do-gooders

What is Fair Future Generators?

Fair Future Generators offers young people the opportunity to learn all the skills and know-how to save the world. Yes really! You will gain work experience 1 day a week for 3 months. You get workshops, training weekends and are coached by experts. Become part of the Milieudefensie youth network. And learn all about climate justice!

The climate traineeship of Fair Future Generators in short:

• a cool climate project in your own neighborhood (>1 day pw);

• An inspiring training weekend where you get to know other participants;

• workshops on climate justice, inclusion, campaigning, project planning & more;

• working together in a team;

• (online) inspiration evenings

• a green network throughout the Netherlands;

• guidance from experts and a personal coach;

• worth €3000!

WHO IS FAIR FUTURE GENERATORS FOR?

For young people of all backgrounds, between the ages of 18 & 27 living in the Netherlands. We have projects from Groningen to Middelburg and from the Randstad to the Achterhoek. Would you like to learn more about the global impact of the climate crisis? Then we link you to a project that focuses on Indigenous human rights? Would you like to work outside? We link you to a food forest or permaculture garden! You don't need any experience or prior knowledge. We train you.

COOL! AND WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

For 3 months you will work 1 day (or 2) a week on a climate project of your choice. In your own region!

As a Fair Future Generator:

• help organize a sustainable festival, or;

• campaign for Indigenous human rights, or;

• are you making a spoken word video about the climate crisis, or;

• create a city garden with a food forest, or;

• do your research into sustainable fashion, or;

• one of the many other cool climate projects.

With the climate traineeship you can make the world (and yourself) a bit better. In a way that suits you. Sounds good right? The next course starts September 1.
