MIEZAAN is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer for our protected living project at various locations Apeldoorn. You will support our
What can you expect as duties and responsibilities:
ā¢ Support residents with daily activities such as shopping, cooking and cleaning, but also garden maintenance;
ā¢ Escorting or transporting residents to emergency services or treatment;
ā¢ Stimulating social interaction and maintaining social contacts;
ā¢ Thinking along and organizing activities that contribute to the well-being of our young residents;
ā¢ Attend team meetings and/or consult with healthcare professionals to tailor support to the needs of our residents;
ā¢ Reporting details and developments to healthcare professionals;
ā¢ Extra support by accompanying a walk in the woods or exercising for which you can use the free Basic Fit pass.
What we expect from you:
ā¢ Affinity with the target group and the willingness to learn about psychological and social problems;
ā¢ Flexibility and employability for at least 4 hours per week; ā¢ Reliability and sense of responsibility;
ā¢ Good communication skills and respect for residents' privacy;
ā¢ A VOG statement is mandatory;
ā¢ In possession of driving license BE and possibly own transport;
ā¢ 2 right hands for the most common house and garden jobs is an advantage.
