For the open walk-in we are looking for volunteers who enjoy meeting all kinds of people and ensuring a good atmosphere in our living room. The living room is open for free walking on four afternoons from 1.30 pm to 4 pm. If there are more volunteers, we also want to start with lunch activities and possibly. coffee mornings. Two volunteers are present every afternoon. What is expected of you? A listening ear, an open heart and sincere interest in people who need a chat, socializing, a game, reading the newspaper and meeting each other. Monitoring a good atmosphere in the living room and making adjustments where necessary. Conduct individual conversations where necessary and if necessary. refer to the Consultation Hour for Help Questions of the Meester Geertshuis or other authorities. We offer a nice and cozy workplace where you work with great colleagues. If you are interested, we would like to receive a motivation letter and a short CV. We have a walk-in afternoon 3 or 4 afternoons a week and we organize various activities including easels, meditation, games evenings or afternoons etc. We have consultation hours for people with a request for help, every Wednesday, free walk-in from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Friday, on appointment from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
