Looking for 3/4 pax per car to drive on a route to be provided soon (in Kuala Lumpur) that will have a start and an end to do pick-ups in selected locations.

Thank you for your interest in KL Car Cleanup Hunt 2023 organised by SWCorp. The event is on this Saturday, September 23rd, 2023.


To ensure the Car Cleanup Hunt runs smoothly and effectively, I want to provide you with some essential information and instructions:



Event Details:

  • Date: September 23rd, 2023 (Saturday)
  • Time: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Registration at 7:30 AM)
  • Location: Pintu A Taman Tasik Permaisuri, Cheras

Address: Jalan Tasik Permaisuri 2, Bandar Tun Razak, 56000 Kuala Lumpur


 

What to Bring:

  1. Comfortable Clothing: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the event. We recommend dressing in layers, as the weather can be unpredictable.
  2. Gloves: Please bring a pair of gloves to protect your hands while cleaning.
  3. Sunscreen and Hat: In case it's sunny, remember to bring sunscreen and a hat to shield yourself from the sun's rays.
  4. Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is important, so please bring a reusable water bottle to refill as needed.
  5. Face Mask: Depending on local health guidelines, we may require face masks, so please have one with you.

 


Event Schedule: (tentative subject to change)

7:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Volunteer registration and distribution of Goody Bag

(Contains light refreshments, thrash bags, gloves etc.)

 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM: Car Cleanup Hunt – Briefing on the Car Cleanup Hunt.

8:30 AM - 11:30 PM: Car Cleanup Hunt – You and your team will go to your designated areas for cleaning. Cleanup in your chosen location.

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Participants return to the meeting point after completing their cleanup activities.

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Debriefing, Weighing and Reporting

  • Debriefing and collection of cleanup materials.
  • Collected garbage is weighed.
  • Participants report the weight of the garbage collected from their respective venues.
  • Data is recorded for analysis.

12:30 PM - 12:45 PM (Group Photos):

  • Group photos are taken to commemorate the event.

12:45 PM – 12:55 PM (Prizes and Awards):

  • Prizes are awarded to individuals or teams who collected the most trash or demonstrated outstanding efforts in cleaning up.

12:55 PM (Closing Remarks):

  • Event organizers thank participants for their contributions to the cleanup effort.
  • Emphasis on the importance of ongoing environmental awareness and action.

1:00 PM (Conclusion of Event):

  • Participants are free to depart, having made a positive impact on the environment.

  • Maintain social distancing and adhere to any local COVID-19 guidelines in place.
  • If you feel unwell or display any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend the event and notify us as soon as possible.
