Je coördineert en stuurt de werkzaamheden aan van een deel van onze circa 50 vrijwilligers. Je maakt afspraken, informeert en adviseert hen.
De circa 50 vrijwilligers van onze stichting werken op allerlei terreinen: op kantoor, ze geven lezingen aan scholieren en studenten, organiseren huiskamerbijeenkomsten in hun regio, staan op beurzen, houden sociale media bij, schrijven artikelen voor kranten en tijdschriften, houden de wetenschappelijke ontwikkelingen bij, etc.
Je hoeft niet veel over de ziekte ME/CVS te weten. Wat je hierover moet weten, leren we je. Wat we wel van je verwachten is dat je goed met mensen om kunt gaan en mensen coacht en aanstuurt.
Je coördineert een deel van deze vrijwilligers. B.v. de mensen die huiskamerbijeenkomsten in het land organiseren. Je adviseert hen hoe dat te doen en plant de activiteiten.
Dit geldt voor alle soorten activiteitenvelden.
Normaal kun je dit gewoon vanuit huis doen. Incidenteel ga je ook naar een vrijwilliger toe of gaan jullie samen ergens anders naar toe. B.v. naar een school of beurs. En af en toe is het ook nuttig en zinvol om naar ons kantoor in Hilversum te komen om bij te praten en voor een gezellig kopje koffie.

We do this by:
- Aiming for broad recognition and recognition of ME / CFS as a very serious disabling physical disease
- offering (a platform for) contact with fellow sufferers
- Contribute with progress towards the cure of ME / CFS
- as a knowledge center for ME / CFS to contribute to the sharing of information, knowledge and experience
- contribute from our network to scientific research aimed at the cure of ME / CFS.
For this we focus on ME / CFS patients, their family members and relatives, healthcare professionals and policymakers. We continuously work to achieve our goals with dedication, independence, integrity and an open attitude. We have an inclusive, positive basic attitude. We look at what can still be done and what can be improved. We are optimistic and enjoy our work. Our bottle is always half full and never half empty.
