The Disaster Mitigation and Response Team (DMRT) is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to reducing the impact of disasters and providing immediate assistance during emergencies. The team collaborates with local authorities, relief organizations, and communities to ensure effective preparedness, response, and recovery.

Mission Statement

To enhance community resilience by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from natural and man-made disasters through proactive mitigation, rapid response, and compassionate support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Disaster Preparedness: Educate communities on risk reduction, emergency planning, and disaster drills.
  • Emergency Response: Provide immediate assistance, including first aid and logistical support during disasters.
  • Recovery Support: Aid in post-disaster recovery efforts such as shelter management, and resource distribution.
  • Community Engagement: Promote awareness campaigns and training sessions to build local capacity for disaster resilience.

How to Join
