Estate maintenance

The De Ploeg estate consists of a mansion, built in 1911, with the stables behind it. The estate has a public footpath and is located in a varied landscape with meadows, hedges, canals and forest edges.

On the farm our first daily care is for the horses, ponies, cows, a goat and chickens. But the yard and the nature around it also need care and we notice that we lack time and resources for this.

That's why we're looking for volunteers who can help with:

· Mowing the meadow edges (including with the brush cutter)

· Maintenance of the hedges (removing shrubs, sawing off branches)

· Control weeds in the yard and garden

· Repair work on grids

· Small repair work on grids and sanding (possibly also painting)

If you like being in the green and you like to get things done, then you can enjoy yourself at De Ploeg. We work with a small team and can determine in consultation what are convenient working hours.
