Walking buddies wanted!

The Veldhuis location houses elderly people, many of whom require physical care. They have their own apartments and prefer to maintain their independence. Residents socialize in the community room over breakfast, coffee, or during the activities offered.

Some residents prefer individual contact and enjoy being outdoors. Because they are wheelchair-bound, I'm looking for "walking buddies." As a walking buddy, you're flexible with your schedule and can make your own arrangements with the resident.

At KleinGeluk, we never miss an opportunity to promote the well-being of seniors. As a volunteer, you're invaluable to us! Sharing small moments of happiness together makes people feel valued. That's what we do it for.

We offer guidance and, if needed, you can participate in workshops to develop new skills. You can start working for just a few hours a month.

Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accident insurance) and before starting work we request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
