Do you enjoy visiting a resident for a cup of coffee together, a short walk or to do some shopping?
The Matenhof location is a residential care center for the elderly, where residents still live independently but are dependent on care.
As a visiting volunteer, you'll be paired with a resident who you'll visit weekly or biweekly. You'll coordinate this with the resident. Some residents simply want to have a friendly chat, enjoy a cup of coffee together, play a game, take a walk, or pick up some groceries.
Time: This is flexible and in consultation with the resident.
At KleinGeluk, we never miss an opportunity to promote the well-being of seniors. As a volunteer, you're invaluable to us! Sharing small moments of happiness together makes people feel valued. That's what we do it for.
We offer guidance and, if needed, you can participate in workshops to develop new skills. You can start working for just a few hours a month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accident insurance) and before starting work we request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
