The Veldhuis location is a nursing home, where elderly people live independently in an apartment but are dependent on care.
For one of our residents I am looking for a 'fishing buddy'. Fishing is a great hobby for this resident and would like to take up this activity again. Who would like to support this? The canal is on our doorstep and the fishing pier at 'De Beren' is within walking distance.
At KleinGeluk we leave no chance unused to promote the well-being of the elderly. As a volunteer, you are invaluable to us! Experiencing small moments of happiness together, so that people feel seen. That is what we do it for.
We offer you guidance and you can participate in workshops to develop new skills if necessary. You can start working for a few hours per month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accidents) and before starting work we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).
