Summary
As a volunteer, you'll give hand massages to the elderly. With a gentle and relaxing massage, you'll help them feel more comfortable and at ease.
Detailed description
The Veldhuis location is a nursing home where residents still live independently but are dependent on care. We believe it's important to offer residents individual attention, such as hand massages, in addition to group activities.
Because demand exceeds our volunteer capacity, we're looking to expand our team. We're looking for volunteers who have a warm heart for the elderly and the patience to offer a listening ear.
No experience is necessary; we offer free hand massage training to get you started. We offer a warm and rewarding environment where you can truly make a difference.
At KleinGeluk, we never miss an opportunity to promote the well-being of seniors. As a volunteer, you're invaluable to us! Sharing small moments of happiness together makes people feel valued. That's what we do it for.
We offer guidance and, if needed, you can participate in workshops to develop new skills. You can start working for just a few hours a month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accident insurance) and before starting work we request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
