This year we will start by setting up a vegetable/picking garden for and throughout the neighborhood. So we are still looking for new volunteers to help us with this.
Detailed description
This year we will start by setting up a vegetable/picking garden for and throughout the neighborhood. We still had a piece of taluut pasture at the back of our property that we don't do much with. So we came up with a plan on how we can put this piece to good use and give our visitors more to experience. We also want to involve the neighborhood more in setting up and maintaining this garden. It is currently still a meadow so we are going to start completely blank.
We are looking for volunteers with and without expertise in this area, but especially people with a lot of passion who want to work with us to create something beautiful for our visitors.
We will work on it during our opening hours.

Laag Buurlo petting zoo has a recreational, educational and therapeutic character. The welfare of the animals is of paramount importance at the petting zoo. The employees, volunteers and a number of employees with a physical and/or mental disability do their utmost to make visitors comfortable.
In addition to visitors from the neighborhood, the petting zoo also regularly receives groups of children from playgroups and schools. Petting zoo lessons are also given to groups 3 and 4 of primary education.
