Board member (volunteer) Portfolio holder PR and Communications

Your duties as a PR portfolio holder are:

• Drafting and executing communication and PR plans
• Advises the board in the field of communication and PR
• Ensuring good PR material in the Humanitas house style
• Maintain contact with the media
• Shaping internal communication with members and volunteers
• Monitoring uniformity in (external) communication
• Representing the department and Humanitas in general, both internally and externally; networking
• Assistance with recruitment campaigns (volunteers, members, board members)

Your time investment:

• You are available for Humanitas on average 4 to 8 hours a week (during the day and/or in the evenings)
• Participate about 10 times a year in the board meeting of the department (in the evenings)

You have:

• a service institution
• organizational ability
• managerial experience
• knowledge and affinity with care and assistance in the region; know which requests for help there are (know the requester) and which organizations are active in the field of care and assistance
• knowledge and affinity in the field of PR and communication
• knowledge and affinity with the association
• good oral and written communication skills
