At Hulphond Nederland we are looking for a Support therapy location Apeldoorn to join our team.

Therapy location

Hulphond Nederland lends a helping hand to people with a physical disability or mental health care needs. At the therapy location, young people with behavioral or psychological problems are treated by a qualified therapist using assistance dogs, where the well-being of the dog is just as important as the well-being of the human being.

Purpose and content of your position

In this volunteer position you are active at the Apeldoorn location. You also live in Apeldoorn (or within a radius of 20 km), in order to be able to start and end the day with the therapist on time.

As a volunteer at a therapy location, you help the therapist by taking care of the dogs in particular between therapy sessions. This means that you receive the dogs in the morning, help them to find rest during the day and walk them.

Particularities

We are looking for a volunteer for Tuesdays (this is a requirement). Times are in consultation with the therapist(s). Indication for the times is: 8.30 am-16.30 pm.
