District head for the Weides and in the North-West for the Heart Foundation collection

The national collection week of the Dutch Heart Foundation is always in April.

We are looking for a district head in Midden Wageningen. There are many collectors available in Wageningen, but too few people who can give them a bus and street planning to be able to walk the collection.

The district head has direct contact with the collectors in his or her district and is therefore the first point of contact for the collectors.

As a district head, you preferably live in or near your district, in connection with the delivery and collection of the collection boxes.

The district head is responsible for delivering the collection boxes prior to the collection week and for dividing the streets in the district where the collector may collect.

After the collection week, the district head ensures that all collection boxes in his or her district are collected, counts the money together with the collector and ensures that the total proceeds are delivered to the collection organizer.

Together with the collection organizer and the other district heads in Wageningen, an evaluation will be made after the collection week.

As a district leader, you do not have to collect yourself, although you are allowed to do so. It is important that you speak Dutch and have a sense of responsibility.

Throughout the year we meet with the district heads and the organizer for the collection about 4 times. This is always in the evening and the date is in consultation.

We are a total of 5 district heads in Wageningen, but 1 person has indicated that he will stop and we are looking for a new district head for him. The group is a friendly team and everyone does what is within his or her possibilities.

Experience with collecting or as a district head is not necessary, but is of course welcome. The administration is done via collecteweb. Some skill with computers and websites is necessary.
