Detailed description
Harun zou het leuk vinden wekelijks met iemand uit de buurt af te spreken. Hij vertelt graag en heeft ideeën genoeg om samen met iemand te ondernemen, waaronder wandelen, naar het park gaan, een ijsje te eten of samen te koken. Alleen iets ondernemen vind hij lastig. Hij heeft op jonge leeftijd een hersenbeschadiging opgelopen, waarbij hij in zijn jeugd veel overvraagd is en daardoor wat angstig is. Ben jij iemand met geduld en een luisterend oor die graag met Harun op pad gaat om even buiten te zijn, dan brengen we je graag in contact.

As a volunteer at Handjehelpen you help children and adults with disabilities at home.
You can choose from different types of volunteer work. From "simple" volunteer work to help that requires specific knowledge or experience. The help is given one on one. That means that you have your "own" client who visits you in his or her house. Our volunteer work is aimed at social contact for a somewhat longer period. Where necessary, we help, support and guide you.
If you have no experience with people with a disability, then that is no problem. We look at a question that suits you. In addition to individual counseling, there is an extensive training and counseling offer to follow. And a no-obligation conversation with a Handjehelpen coordinator is always possible. We hope to hear from you.
