Together on the road in the (digital) wilderness

With this project you go on a safari in the (digital) wilderness of the Netherlands. Part of the time you have a guide and part of the time you are the guide. This is how it works:

Join us on a journey through the most beautiful nature in the Netherlands with volunteers from Natuurmonumenten. You come to the most beautiful places whose existence you did not know. The volunteers know the area through and through. They are busy every week with the creation of walkways, removal of forest storage and animal counting. You really don't have to be a biologist for wild spotting: anyone can do that. As a trainee you not only go on a journey, you also really roll up your sleeves. You can count on it that yields a lot of great stories and beautiful pictures.

Conversely, you are also a guide. The guide for volunteers through the digital wilderness. The volunteers would like to share their experiences, knowledge and questions on an online platform: KIEK online. But how exactly you use such a platform, post photos, tell stories and vlog: they can use some help with that. And we need you for that! So: in the morning into the area, in the afternoon behind the computer to share everything.

Do you see an adventure of 5 months in the Dutch wilderness? And do you want to help our volunteers to share their experiences in that wilderness on the online platform of Natuurmonumenten? Then this project is really for you.

Practical information

• Location: 's-Graveland, with trips to all kinds of beautiful nature areas throughout the Netherlands.
• National starting and closing meeting on 7-9-2019 and 1-2-2020.
• Working days mainly on: Wednesday.

The Green traineeship gives you
