Tour guides wanted

You're probably familiar with them: the buses that transport students to their special education school every day. A wonderful solution, but there's often another way. That's why we're launching the "Samen Reizen met..." (Traveling Together with...) project, "De Reiskoffer" (The Suitcase), where these students learn to travel to school independently. To enable students to travel independently, they need to learn how to get to school. This can be done by bike or public transport. We're looking for volunteers to accompany these children to school for this learning process.

We are looking for volunteers from various municipalities to participate in the "De Reiskoffer" (The Suitcase) project for the "Traveling Together with" component, helping these children. Without assistance, these children remain dependent on special transportation. With your help, they will soon be able to get to school independently, and that will make a real difference. The children learn to navigate life independently, becoming more independent and gaining more self-confidence. Moreover, it's something the students themselves will benefit from for the rest of their lives.

We ask

• Your weekly commitment (times and number of hours in consultation, possible from 8 hours per week);

• Your involvement with these children, so that they learn to trust you and you give them the confidence to travel independently;

• Submission of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declaration (this will be reimbursed).
