We are looking for enthusiastic cooks for De Herberg drop-in center. Who prepare a healthy meal with love for people who could use a good meal.
Detailed description
Once a week on Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM there is a meal in the Herberg drop-in center for anyone who wants. This walk-in center belongs to the De Herberg Apeldoorn Foundation, which is committed to helping people who are disadvantaged by society.
As a chef, you ensure that you cook a healthy meal, alone or together with other colleagues. You come up with a meal, do the shopping, prepare it and possibly serve the meal. We ask you to provide a cheap and healthy meal. You start preparing the meal at 3:00 PM. The meal is served at 5:00 PM. And you'll be done around 6:00 PM. You can join us while eating.
The visitors to the drop-in center are very diverse. What they have in common is that they come by for (mutual) meeting and fun. It is also true for the majority that life is not always easy and they experience difficulties in several areas of life. We believe it is important that everyone is welcome and that everyone is held in high regard as a human being. Circumstances change
nothing about that.
In terms of availability, we require a minimum commitment of once per month. In addition to the cooks, hosts are present at every meal to set the tables, help serve and supervise the meal. Together you ensure that it is a tasty and enjoyable meal.

activities. We also facilitate a letter address and consultation hours where personal attention is central. We strive to respond to the needs of our visitors with our activities, in order to contribute to a better quality of life for our visitors.
