De Waterviolier in Velserbroek is a residential location for 22 adults with a mild or moderate intellectual disability. They function at primary school level.
Several clients are looking for a buddy to, for example, walk the dog, go for a bike ride, evening walk, play games, etc. Also think of things like watching airplanes at Schiphol or going to the beach for an hour.
And maybe you have a nice hobby in which you want to involve a participant?

Becoming a volunteer at the Hartekamp Group is educational and fun. Volunteers are part of it and are indispensable for our clients. For example, to participate in activities together in their spare time. And to build nice contacts in their living environment.
Together we look for volunteer work in a place that suits you, at times that suit you. We ensure that you are properly trained and supervised. Before you start, you will receive background information about people with intellectual disabilities and specifically about the client(s) you will be working with. We reimburse your travel costs to and from volunteer work. Every day as best as possible.
