Our Drom is getting more famous! As a landmark of Enkhuizen and its surroundings, we regularly receive requests for guided tours. We are happy to give them!
As a guide you will know the 500 years of versatile history of the Drom and you can tell a beautiful story about every corner and every space. You take a group of up to 15 people into the tower and tell you how everything happens in the Drom.
Are you looking for a flexible volunteer position on a call basis in which you contribute to keeping the special history of the Drommedaris alive? Let us know!
About Cultureel Centrum De Drommedaris
De Drom offers a lively stage on all facets of the cultural area in Enkhuizen and surroundings that connects, inspires and moves. As a building, the Drom is a landmark that is known far beyond the city walls. The combination of the special building with various activities makes the Drommedaris a unique place.
De Drom offers a diverse cultural program with a very wide range of cabaret and theater performances, music and children's theater. Most performances take place on weekends. With approximately 750 activities a year, the Drom is bustling like never before!
The Drommedaris is a foundation with a board consisting of volunteers. The daily activities, cultural programming, catering and events are carried out by a small professional team of paid employees. In addition, the Drom works with many volunteers who perform all kinds of tasks of hostess or host, administrative assistant and theater technicians. In total, the Drom works with approximately 60 volunteers. Without the enormous effort of these volunteers, the Drom would not be able to run.
These activities are only possible through the efforts of many volunteers, so we are looking for people who have a warm heart for the theater and who want to actively commit themselves to this.
