Our participants at the Wood Workshop learn how to handle materials, gain insight into how something is made and how to work safely with machines
Each participant has a different learning goal. One is here to build up hours, another to learn professional skills and a third to be among people again. That is why there is always supervision present. We are looking for a volunteer who, together with our work supervisor, wants to take on the personal support of participants.
What do we offer you?
You will have the opportunity to work together, meet other people, speak to customers and deliver work that makes our customers happy. Useful and fun work, where you also help other participants who still need a little support.
Your efforts and knowledge will be rewarded with a volunteer allowance.
What are the working days/times?
Working days and hours are negotiable.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Workshops
At Circulus you can work in waste collection, in outdoor areas, and in workshops. You can go there if you need some support on your way to work.
We offer work in our Circulus Bicycle Workshop, Wood Workshop, Technology Factory and Textile Workshop. You can find this in Deventer. In Vaassen you will find an electronics workshop at our thrift company Stilema. We also have a laundry (Apeldoorn) and a kitchen (Deventer and Apeldoorn).
From January 1, 2024 we also have a Wood Workshop and Assembly Workshop in Apeldoorn.
During the work in the Bicycle Workshop, Wood Workshop and Textile Workshop and in our recycling company, a lot of attention is paid to the reuse of materials.
What makes these routes so beautiful? The strength of the programs lies in the collaboration between professionals. The work supervisor will guide you and teach you skills in the workplace. The activation coach offers guidance regarding your personal situation. Together with the program officer, they form a strong triangle that is committed to the successful completion of the program.
In the neighborhoods
You can also get started outside. For example when cleaning. There we ensure that litter and graffiti are removed and waste bins are emptied. We also have workplaces in green management and weed control.
The inlaws
De Schoon Familie is a community in Deventer in which members (residents, schools, associations) work together to ensure a livable and clean neighborhood. Anyone can join this family and contribute.
Youth Center 0313 and Neighborhood Academy
The Youth Center 0313 offers activities to young people. The Neighborhood Academy focuses on activities for very diverse target groups. Central, connecting and social.
