Helping as a guest lady at the gatherings of the power of memory.
Reminisce about the past together!
The smell of ground coffee, a childhood photo, the words monkey-nut-Mies... Little things can bring back many positive memories. In the meetings of the Power of Memory we will work on it. Especially for people with memory problems and their carers.
But to make these meetings as fun and enjoyable as possible, we need the help of guest ladies. As a hostess you help to prepare the space, do the shopping for lunch, and prepare lunch for the caregiver. But also during the meetings (lasting 2 hours) support by serving coffee, having lunch together with people with dementia and helping to clean up afterwards.
At all meetings (6x) an informal care consultant and/or voluntary home care coordinator will be present from Carinova and will take care of everything together with the host ladies.
The power of memory Deventer consists of 6 meetings, this year (2021) organized on Wednesdays in September and October.
