Vacancy: Two members of the Supervisory Board (RvT)

The Supervisory Board of Care Zorg & Welzijn is looking for two members with focus areas on elderly care, finance, Care & Welfare (home care) background.

We expect both members to have insight into, and to be able to think and act from a 'learning care organization'.

Who is Care Zorg & Welzijn and its vision and mission?

Care Zorg & Welzijn is a care provider that specializes in the provision of multicultural home care to promote the self-reliance of people, in particular immigrant care recipients.

On a small scale and from a concern for the community, Care Zorg & Welzijn wants to meet a social need to offer the best, reliable service in the region in a customer-oriented way.

Care Zorg & Welzijn focuses on well-being, participation and physical well-being. If the welfare needs are properly met, the physical care demand will decrease.

There are “gaps” in the care offer between the demand for care and the supply of care, compared to the great aging of the population and the increasing care demand. Our wish is to fill and / or close these gaps in care. Care Zorg & Welzijn, as a professional organization, wants to provide reliable, high-quality care, so that the vulnerable target groups can continue to live at home healthy and for as long as possible and to guide them through the care maze. In short, Care wants to be a reliable and transparent partner for health insurers, municipalities and clients!

Nature of the position:

It concerns a social supervisory function. The function is performed in accordance with the good governance code.

Job content:

Taking statutory decisions together.

Providing assistance and commitment to drawing up an annual plan, budget and policy plan and to annual report and annual accounts.

Determining and evaluating the strategy.

Solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board of Directors and acting as a sounding board / sparring partner.

· Monitoring the relationship with the main stakeholders and external reputation.

The quality and safety of care and welfare services.

The strategy and risks associated with the activities of the foundation.

Follow the healthcare laws and regulations.

The realization of the objectives of the foundation.

The strategy and risks associated with the activities of the foundation.

Have broad managerial, managerial qualities and experience in organizations / institutions.

To be able to think at an administrative and strategic level.

Affinity with the objectives of the Care Zorg & Welzijn foundation.

Knowledge and expertise in the field of personnel policy.

Possesses change power and innovative capacity.

Participation in Supervisory Board meetings: 4x per year (1x per quarter).

Remuneration:

The position is unpaid. The costs incurred are reimbursed as expense allowance.

Once a year there is an annual dinner for the members of the Supervisory Board.

Appointment period:

The chairman and members are appointed for a term of four years. Retiring members can be reappointed one more time for a period of 4 years.
