Young and disabled? Become Realist!

With the Realist Academy 2.0, young people between the ages of 14 and 27 are building an inclusive labor market and developing themselves to increase their own opportunities. As a young person, you are committed as a Realist (experience expert) to inspire and activate others with your personal experiences with living and working with a disability. You do this by providing information.

Special Conditions

Participation in the 'Realists Academy 2.0: Together for equal opportunities!' takes six months In short: in a few months you will receive professional training (start of the training is Oct / Nov 2020) you develop yourself, you increase your chances on the labor market and you build a large - social and professional - network. After you have completed the training, you have cast your unique view of the labor market and experiences in the form of a pitch or information sessions. You will then present this at schools and companies (in the months of Jan to June 2021). The program lasts at least 6 months after the training and takes about 6 - 10 hours per month. The first 2 months are a bit more intensive. You are a young person (14-27 years) * with a physical disability, chronic illness, psychological or mental disability and you want to become even more aware of your qualities! Besides developing yourself personally, you want to show others that young people with a disability also deserve a permanent place in the labor market.
