Summary
Together with a fellow neighborhood mediator, you use your impartial attitude to help people who want to resolve a (threatening) conflict with their neighbors.
Detailed description
Do you recognize yourself in this or does it appeal to you?
- be able to lead a conversation between neighbors impartially;
- to be interested in other people;
- respect the opinions of others;
- being able to listen well, summarize and ask further questions;
- being able to deal with resistance;
- participate in the Basic Neighbourhood Mediation Training and successfully complete it (3 days, 1 of which is at the weekend);
- attend annual refresher training;
- participate in the team evenings (approx. 6 per year);
- working with a co-mediator;
- have an average of 1 case in hand.
