For whom?

For residents of the Gooi en Vechtstreek region who want to stand up for the basic principles of our party: radical equality and economic justice. Diversity is of great importance here: BIJ1 belongs to everyone, and this should also be reflected in the board. People of color and / or bicultural background are explicitly invited to apply. This also applies to: people with a disability or chronic condition, LGBTIQ + people, sex workers or former refugees. We strive for a composition that underlines the diversity of our party.

What is expected of me?

You want to cooperate enthusiastically in building and expanding the party in the region. You also prefer to have your own or collective experiential expertise. You have knowledge of forms of oppression and the (intersectional) way in which they are related, or are willing to delve into this. In addition, you are a member of the party, or are willing to become one. Activities as a board member can be easily combined with work or study.

What can you expect from us?

It is a voluntary position, but it also yields a lot: you make a social contribution and develop yourself, for example in political skills or networks. You will also find an enthusiastic team of like-minded people.
