Do you have a warm heart and a listening ear? Make a difference in someone's day.
For our location we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who like to make personal contact with elderly people with dementia. As a volunteer you offer company, a listening ear or you undertake a quiet activity together, such as walking, listening to music or drinking a cup of coffee.
What are you going to do?
- 1-on-1 contact with an elderly person with dementia
- Walking together, talking, listening to music or playing a game
- Providing attention and peace
What do we ask of you?
- Affinity with the elderly and/or dementia
- Patience, empathy and reliability
- You are available for at least 1 half day per week (in consultation)
What do we offer you?
