Are you coming to cycle with a resident of the Huntington department (Heemhof)? Wheelchair bike or tandem bike are available.Detailed description
At the Heemhof live people with Huntington's disease and people with dementia. Unfortunately, they are no longer able to cycle independently. They can really use your help and support with this sporting activity. You give them individual attention, let them get some fresh air and experience the feeling of the wind blowing through their hair.
In a personal conversation with candidate volunteers you will receive more information about the symptoms.
