Would you like to make a difference in the lives of job-seeking women in your spare time? And do you have an affinity with sewing? Then we are looking for you!
Function
As a volunteer you provide support on the work floor and work together with the supervisor or seamstress who is currently running the studio and is responsible.
The support requested varies per time and day. Sometimes these may be questions about how something should be made or how a sewing machine should be re-harnessed. Sometimes it is a question about an email or letter from the municipality or just sparring or venting.
The main duties of a volunteer are:
- Providing support to the seamstresses and ladies in the work experience positions in the work.
- Contribute to a good atmosphere in the workplace.
Profile
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with her hands, is patient, enjoys explaining things and sharing experience. It is important that you are empathetic and patient, enjoy collaboration and are culturally sensitive.
Furthermore, the following properties are desirable:
- Experienced in working on the sewing machine and overlock machine
- Have an eye for detail
- Being able to think in solutions
- Motivation and passion for working in a dynamic and hardworking team
- Fluent Dutch
