The AMF is organizing a major music festival on July 6, 2024. Due to circumstances, we are urgently looking for a project leader to lead the existing project team.
Detailed description
The festival will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in numerous rooms in Theater Orpheus in Apeldoorn. More than 30 orchestras and choirs participate. The festival is open to the public free of charge. Preparations by an active project team are in full swing; commitments have been made and adequate financing has been arranged. Progress is at risk because the project leader died unexpectedly on March 28, 2024. We are therefore looking for a decisive project leader with experience in organizing and carrying out an event or festival as soon as possible. Knowledge and experience with music is not a requirement; this is sufficiently available within the project team.

The Apeldoorn Music Federation association (founded in 1933) has the following goals:
To promote amateur music practice; promote the common interests of the affiliated associations; promoting solidarity and creating a good understanding between the affiliated associations
The affiliated members of the AMF are harmonies, fanfares, brass bands, drum fanfares, drum, trumpet, piper,
lyra and majorette corps and all other associations that practice instrumental music from the municipality of Apeldoorn. This also includes the following places: Beekbergen, Klarenbeek, Lieren, Loenen, Hoenderloo, Oosterhuizen, Uddel and Ugchelen.
