The Apeldoorn Guides Collective is looking for new guides
The guides of the Apeldoorn Guides Collective (AGC) organize more than 200 walks in Apeldoorn and the surrounding area every year.
Starting in 2026, we're looking for new guides to join our current team. We'll be launching an internal training program this fall.
Are you interested in Apeldoorn's history, cultural history, urban development, and architecture? Do you enjoy guiding groups around Apeldoorn? Would you like to be part of a volunteer group? Then sign up for the information meeting on Wednesday evening, August 27th, starting at 7:30 PM. Location: De Groene Hoven community center, Koninginnelaan 280, 7315 EE Apeldoorn.

During this information evening, we'll explain what it's like to be a guide at the AGC, what we expect from prospective guides, the criteria they must meet, and what the training will entail. You'll also have the opportunity to meet some current guides. Afterward, you'll decide whether you want to continue your application and officially register as a candidate for the internal training program.
