Detailed description
You'll manage PR and communications for Alzheimer's Meeting Point Wageningen, enabling family, loved ones, and other interested parties to participate. You'll collaborate with the coordinator and coordinate the specific steps involved.
Your tasks include:
- You ensure that the posters for the monthly meetings are designed and distributed both physically and online in Wageningen and the surrounding area.
- You post the meetings on the Alzheimer Nederland website
- You place an advertisement in Stad Wageningen;
- Writes a press release for online and offline media;
- Providing a newsletter;

You'll receive information about dementia and can share experiences and ask questions in a safe environment. People with dementia, partners, family members, friends, caregivers, and other interested parties are very welcome. Each meeting has a theme and features a guest speaker. There's also plenty of time for socializing and talking with each other. You'll receive information about (coping with) dementia and available support and services. Expert volunteers and professionals will answer your questions. Participation is free, and registration is not required.
