We are looking for people who want to help our G-baseball team provide fun training sessions and guide a Saturday at a tournament about once a month.
G-baseball is an individual sport within a team sport. G-baseball is an adapted form of baseball and softball and very suitable for people with a (intellectual) disability. The individual possibilities, skills and wishes of the athletes are taken into account. Each player has his or her strengths with which he or she can complement another. One can catch and throw well, the other can hit well. Within a team there is room for each player to develop personally. In this way people with a disability can still practice a team sport, in which they move in a pleasant way and where they also individually make their action.
The G-baseball project group seized the lockdown to further develop the project and make it concrete. We are now ready to start from the relaxation of the corona rules. We are currently still looking for a group of people who (in turn) want to help with training and matches / tournaments! It concerns 1 hour of training per week, (probably on Thursday evening) with an average of 1x per month in which we can participate.
