The organization: Young & Fair

Young & Fair is the Dutch platform for young people interested and active in the world of fair trade and sustainability. Through this platform, we strive to increase our knowledge of fair trade and thereby expand the market for fair trade products. In addition, we see a role for Young & Fair to achieve more youth participation in the world of fair trade. For this we organize various activities on fair trade and sustainability.

The team

At the Fair Fashion Festival you are part of the six-member core team you send a sub team and you have final responsibility for the day program.

The function: Coordinator Program

As Coordinator Program, you are responsible for the program. At the Fair Fashion Festival the role is divided into two functions: Coordinator Program Market & Fashion Show and Coordinator Program Lectures and Workshops. In both cases you will be supported by a sub-team that you have to put together yourself.

What you are going to be working on

• Designing the event content
• Keeping in touch with all participants during the event
• Design of the market (where applicable)
• Classification of the speakers and workshops (where apply)
• Arranging speakers, workshops and stall holders
• Communication with the parties involved (shops, brands, market, etc.)
• Designing the fashion show (Market & Mode show function)
• Arrange models, make-up, models etc. (Market & Mode show function)
• Control the sub-team

• Pré: experience in organizing events
