The organization: Young & Fair

Young & Fair believes that by sharing knowledge about fair consumption, we enable young people to consume more consciously. We do this through various events, social media and our website, where a positive approach is paramount. This mission is carried out and carried out by an enthusiastic group of volunteers consisting of students and young professionals.

The board

The board of Young & Fair gives direction to the organization. With three co-directors you think about both the short-term vision and the future of the foundation. This includes the collaborations with other organizations, the financial direction of the organization, the volunteer policy and the implementation of projects. The board is a close-knit team that meets twice a week, but also regularly sees each other and has continuous contact with each other.

The position: Board member Communication

If Board member Communication you determine how Young & Fair communicates its mission internally and externally. You monitor the communication channels and check whether the communication is in line with the vision and mission of the foundation. You have strong communication skills and can maintain good relations. Both internally with volunteers and externally with relations of the foundation. In addition, you, as a board member, send one of the project teams. You are actively present on the board of a creative youth organization. Finally, you are motivated to make young people aware of fair trade and sustainability and you have the perseverance to create fantastic events.

Time

The vacancy will average 8-10 hours per week take a week and you are expected to visit the board meeting.
