Friend4Friend is looking for young Dutch people who would like to meet new people and get acquainted with volunteering!
We believe that society gets better when you get to know each other, and that you yourself become happier when you do something for someone else. Friend4friend brings these two aspects together.
As a young Dutchman you are paired with a young newcomer. You become each other's buddy! You and your buddy will work as a volunteer. You get to know each other's living environment, while at the same time you are doing meaningful work. Moreover, you immediately have something to talk about!
With friend4friend we want to achieve these goals:
- Young people are introduced to volunteering.
- Newcomers find their way more easily, both in terms of language and network. Hopefully this will make them feel at home in the Netherlands sooner.
- Dutch young people are introduced to newcomers, so that they enrich their world view.
