Oceans are incredibly important. We all depend directly or indirectly on our oceans. Unfortunately, the oceans are not doing well: pollution, overfishing and climate change are just a few examples of serious threats.
With the platform Ocean Witness we want to show what all these problems mean for people who are dependent on oceans. The focus is on people who directly feel the consequences, people who depend on fish. With the sharing of personal, first-hand experiences and sharing solutions proposed by local communities, we hope to gain attention for these problems and their potential solutions. Attention from both you and nature lovers as well as politicians who make important decisions about the future of our oceans.
