About Vincentian Care Plus

Our aim at Vincentian Care Plus is to offer a practical and personal care and support service that enables older people to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. Vincentian Care Plus is committed to Promoting Independence. We aim to assist our Service Users in being as independent as possible, and the service we provide is an enabling one rather than a 'doing' one. We encourage and assist as much as possible whilst trying to ensure that we don't 'take over' the tasks that Service Users can do for themselves. Vincentian Care Plus takes its name and inspiration from Saint Vincent De Paul, a French priest who worked among the poor and marginalised of France in the 17th century. St Vincent, his life and his values continue to be a source of inspiration for many organisations caring for, and serving vulnerable and marginalised people throughout the world.
