The Maatjes project is aimed at people with a physical, psychological and / or intellectual disability. Because of this limitation, they find it difficult to participate in society. The extent to which they succeed in this depends in part on the people around them. With this project we try to get this target group moving, literally and figuratively. This can be done by being linked to a buddy and working together towards a goal, or by means of the 'playbox', where you, together with another volunteer, conduct game activities for small groups. In this way you try to improve the cognitive, motor and social skills of the participants.
You can therefore choose to be linked to a buddy and / or to lead the 'game box'.
