Do you want to give language lessons at home? Do you want to convey Dutch in a personal way? Then this is an interesting project for you.
Language behind the front door is for migrant women who can not manage well independently in Dutch society. Among other things, the language raises thresholds so that they develop fewer activities outdoors.
At Taal behind the front door you give Dutch lessons for a period of 20 weeks at a woman with a migrant background at home. This can be in the whole of Rotterdam, but is of course in consultation. The classes are every week and last about 1.5 hours. The times are flexible and in consultation.
You will receive training on language transfer, dealing with the target group and situations you may encounter. Travel expenses allowance and volunteers allowance are among the possibilities.
Do you have affinity with the target group, a sufficient command of the Dutch language and are you firmly in your shoes? Then you are at the right address.
