Employee Donor administration

Gered Gereedschap is a national volunteer organization that collects, refurbishes and sends used tools to technical schools and starting entrepreneurs in developing countries. The network of Gered Gereedschap consists of 30 workshops and 350 collection points where a total of 500 volunteers are active.

To strengthen our volunteer team at the national office in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Donor administration employee.

Job description

Private donors are an important source of funding for the work of Gered Gereedschap. As a volunteer donor administration you are responsible for the management of our donor database. You answer questions from donors by telephone, post and e-mail and if necessary, enter any changes in our Sugar CRM system. From your position you are responsible for handling authorizations, checking (collection) payments and reversals. Where necessary, you send letters of thanks and help you to send the quarterly mailings from our donor magazine GG Bericht.

What are we looking for?

For this volunteer position we are looking for a careful administrator with knowledge of administration systems, MS office and good command of the Dutch language. You are enthusiastic, independent and effective. A completed administrative training at minimum MBO level is an advantage. You endorse the objectives of Gered Gereedschap and would like to contribute to the strengthening of our volunteer organization.
