Introduce:
"I am Joost (28), an active young man with many interests and hobbies. I like walking and being active. Besides my love for nature and animals, I also have a passion for culture. I like to visit museums, but also stand open to all kinds of other activities My hobbies are painting, swimming, hockey, watching TV, visiting my mother, making word searches, x-boxing, reading and my bird Peppie.
I have a mild form of autism, which is why I like it when concrete and clear agreements are made. I am reliable and I am looking for a volunteer who is also reliable and who enjoys doing activities with me. I can travel independently by bike and bus."
What is Joost looking for in a buddy?
Are you someone who can listen well, is reliable and also a bit sporty? Then Joost is looking for you! Joost is happy with a buddy who wants to do something fun with him once a month. He would love to visit museums and swimming pools, walk in nature reserves, visit cities and sit on a terrace together. Joost likes many things!
Frequency
1x a month on Friday afternoon or at the weekend. Wednesday is also a possibility in consultation. Together with Joost you discuss when you meet.
About the organization
Joost lives in a parent initiative in Wageningen where he receives guidance from 's Heeren Loo. 's Heeren Loo helps people with intellectual disabilities and/or other disabilities to live their lives the way they want.
