We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to support us in bringing and picking up our clients
Feature information
More than 600 clients live at our residential care park of 's Heeren Loo in Apeldoorn. A large part of them visit various daytime groups on location during the day. Until some time ago, we used bus transport to take our clients to their daytime activities.
We have since stopped doing that and use walking groups and, if necessary, wheelchair bicycles to transport our clients. 's Heeren Loo considers it important to take responsibility for a better environment, and bus transport with the associated emissions of harmful substances does not fit in with that.
In addition, bus transport caused a lot of crowds at our residential care park. By walking or cycling it has become calmer and our clients get more exercise. That is also something we attach great importance to.
To ensure that the transfers of our clients run as smoothly as possible, we are still looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to support our walking groups during the busiest times of the day.
Would you like to walk or cycle with our clients and are you available between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning and/or between 15:00 and 16:30 in the afternoon, then we would love to hear from you .
The days and times you come can be fine in consultation and your options are leading.

Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
